Machine Summary 
The model GH-1600CNC6/GH-2000CNC6 CNC gear hobbing machine is 6 axes one with 4 axes coordinated control. Based on the principle of generating method, and by electronic gearbox(EGB), the machine is designed to cut cylindrical spur & helical gears, work wheels, crowning or slightly tapered gears and splines, etc. It is suited for the industries that produce the gears on a large scale production, such as heavy-truck, crane machinery, mining marine, lift, metallurgy, generating equipment and engineering machinery, etc.
The model GH-3200CNC6 gear hobbing machine is of 6 axes one with 4 axes coordinated control. Based on the principle of generating method, with carrying out index and differential compensation motion by electronic gearbox(EGB), the machine is designed to cut cylindrical spur & helical gears, worm wheels, crowning or slightly tapered gears and splines, etc.
The machine has the features of high efficiency, rigidity and accuracy. It is suited for the industries that produce large-sized gears, such as wind power, engineering machinery and large-sized gearboxes, etc.
 
Main Performances
 
The machine is of 6 axes with 4 axes coordinated control. Its CNC axes are:
A-axis--hob head swivel motion;
B-axis--hob spindle rotary motion;
C-axis--worktable rotary motion;
X-axis--radial feed motion;
Y-axis--tangential feed motion;
Z-axis--axial feed motion;
Four axes coordinated control of the standard machine: B,C,X and Z.
General Arrangement
With vertical design, the column can move and the worktable is fixed. Linear encoder is used for full-closed loop control for X, Y and Z-axis. Axis mtor is controlled by an encode. A and B axes are controlled by separated encoders.

Construction of main components
1. The machine consists of the bed, column, worktable, slide, hob head, chip conveying & cooling systems, hydraulic and lunrication devices, electrical control system, CNC control system and accessories, etc.
2. For main guideways. Either high precision linear recirculating roller guidance system imported and guideways covered by steel or hydraulic controlled gib and HNT anti-worm ample rectangle guideways covered with Teflon are adopted. The bed is of steel plate welded construction. The other bulky components are of double-wall and rib-reinforced solid casting ones, thus ensure the machine has good rigidity and suit for large feed rate and powerful cutting.
3. Hydrostatic bearings are used for hob head spindle. High precision rolling bearings imported are used for the other transmission shafts. A large diameter one-tooth difference clearance-eliminating mechanism is adopted to eliminate transmission clearance, thus ensure the machine has enough rigidity, good anti-vibration and stable accuracy.
4. An AC motor with water cooling is used for driving the hob spindle. Servo axes are driven by AC servo motors. Spindle overload auto. monitoring and alarm device is available. The hob is locked by hydraulically locking nuts imported. Hob arbor automatic clamping device is available.
5. Large hydrostatic bearings and high precision double worm gearings are used for the worktable. The worms are also supported by hydrostatic bearings. Therefore, the worktable can transmit with clearance free and carry out dynamic locking and positioning.
6. Hob head swiveling motion is carried out by a motor through speed reducer and worm gearings. The hob head is clamped or released by a cylinder.
7. Balancing cylinder is designed on the column to balance the weight of slide and hob head. Unloaded devices are arranged between the guideways of the column and the bed to reduce the load of X-axis, equipped with locking cylinder on the retaining plate of the column to lock the column after it reaches its position, equipped with locking cylinder on the retaining plate of the hob head to lock the sub-slide after hob head sub-slide reaches its terminal.
8. High precision rolling bearings and ball screw pair are used for the key parts.
9. Functions of the electrical control system are very well, so that it has the features of easy operation, safety and reliable performance.
10. The machine is equipped with fully enclosed guards. The guard door is of push-pull type and can be opened widely in single directions.
